Former UW-W QB Matt Blanchard working out with Bears
CHICAGO (WKOW) -- Former UW-Whitewater quarterback Matt Blanchard is working out for the Chicago Bears. Blanchard was one of 11 players signed by Chicago following the draft as a free agent. Blanchard is the only rookie QB invited to Bears camp. The former Warhawks QB was All-WIAC in both 2010 and 2011. He was 25-0 as a starter at UW-W, winning two national titles. Chicago has four other QBs on its roster, which includes starter Jay Cutler and backups Jason Campbell, Josh McCown and Nathan Enderle. Bears rookie minicamp is from May 11-13.
