Vinehout will support Barrett for governor

MADISON (WKOW) -- State Senator Kathleen Vinehout met with her supporters in downtown Madison after learning the Democratic recall nomination went to Tom Barrett. 

Vinehout will support Barrett's campaign, saying Democrats will have to start now to get the word out to Wisconsin voters in order to win against Scott Walker.

"We are going to pull together and everybody in the Democratic Party understands how important it is that the people of the state take their state back," says Vinehout.

Vinehout says Barrett will have to reach out to rural voters, where she's seen some of the heaviest support for Governor Walker.
