MADISON (WKOW) -- Supporters of the recall movement rallied in Madison on Wednesday.
They showed their unity in support of Democratic candidate for governor, Tom Barrett.
Members of labor groups and progressives marched up State Street to the Capitol.
Organizers say their momentum is peaking as they see the end of the push to recall Governor Scott Walker is in sight.
State Representative Chris Taylor (D-Madison) says, "All of our work, all of the thousands of people who were out collecting signatures can now see the fruits of their labor. That we are within striking distance of recalling Scott Walker and taking our state back."
Some of the ralliers included representatives from WEAC, AFSCME and the AFLCIO -- unions that had previously endorsed Kathleen Falk.
