MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say the man shot last week on the city's north side has been arrested.

Kerry Steele, 27, of Madison was arrested Thursday afternoon on a tentative charge of first degree recklessly endangering safety.

Police say they arrested Steele after he was released from the hospital. Steele was shot in the back in the May 2nd incident.

Detectives say they believe Steele also fired a weapon during the gun violence on Brentwood Parkway.

The main suspect in the case, 29-year-old Robert Williams, is in police custody. He was arrested Monday in La Crosse for driving without a seatbelt.

Officers are still looking for one person of interest, Terrance Frazier, 24, of Madison.
