STOUGHTON (WKOW) -- A good Samaritan was hit by a car after he stopped to help someone else.
It happened just before 4 p.m. Thursday on I-39 SB near Stoughton.
Officials say a woman driving a Chevy Blazer pulled over to the shoulder and her vehicle caught fire.
A semi-truck stopped ahead of the Blazer to help her.
As the semi driver was walking up to the vehicle, he was hit by car passing by.
That car then collided with another tractor trailer, and hit the semi that was stopped.
The semi driver was transported to UW Hospital in Madison with non-life threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
