Parents in abuse case ask for donations

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison couple accused of torturing and starving a 15-year-old over five years is asking for help to pay for their legal defense.

A website asks for donations for the girl's father Chad Chritton and stepmother Melinda Drabek-Chritton.

The site includes the parents' life story, the daughter's medical history and the parents' account of what happened.

The website is registered to the address of Chad Chritton's attorney.

Chritton and Melinda Drabek-Chritton face seven charges each. The two are due back in court May 18.
