
MADISON (WKOW) -- With an outright Badger South conference title on the line, the Oregon High School girls soccer team pulled out a 1-0 victory over Madison Edgewood. The Lady Panthers earned their first conference title since 2005. Oregon scored its lone goal 50 minutes into the game off a cornerkick. Panthers' Annie Zavoral headed the ball, which went off the inside of the goalpost. Edgewood goaltender Molly Meriggioli appeared to make the save, but the referees signaled goal.
