Barneveld man arrested for 7th OWI offense

DeForest (WKOW) – DeForest police arrested a Barneveld man for his 7^th OWI offense on late Wednesday night.

Police say after they pulled over Jorge E. Garcia Quintero, 62, for speeding, he appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants. After submitting to field sobriety tests, police arrested him for OWI.

Police also cited Garcia Quintero for speeding and possession of marijuana. A passenger in his car was cited for open intoxicants and released.
