GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- High School students got a very important lesson Thursday.
Green Bay Packers Offensive Lineman, Josh Sitton, spoke about the dangers of texting while driving.
The crowd of 1,500 students at Green Bay East High School watched a short documentary called "The Last Text."
It tells the stories of those whose lives have been impacted by distracted drivers.
Sitton says, "Just let them know how dangerous it is and that it's not as important as your life or someone else's to send that text."
The whole event was made possible thanks to a senior at the school.
Lorissa VandenHoogan won the "Take Sitton to School" contest.
"I will never text and drive, I will hand my phone to a friend if I happen to see it go off because I just don't agree with it, it's something I don't believe in," she says.
VandenHoogan was also picked up in a hot pink limo and whisked off to Titletown Brewing where she had lunch with Sitton.
