Barrett tried to win over potential voters at Brat Fest

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) – Democratic candidate for governor Tom Barrett stayed on the campaign trail Monday while he was in Madison.

He visited Brat Fest and spoke to potential voters.

The Milwaukee mayor said he has nothing to hide about his record, but he says his opponent in the recall election, Gov. Scott Walker, is sticking to scripted appearances and not answering many questions.

The candidates will meet Thursday night for a second debate at 9 p.m. in Milwaukee.

The election is one week away on June 5.
