MADISON (WKOW) – Governor Scott Walker's campaign continues to receive out-of-state donations as the June 5 recall election gets closer.
The latest campaign reports show almost two-thirds of Walker's recent donations come from out-of-state addresses. That means out of Walker's $5.9 million fundraised between April 24 and Wednesday, $3.7 million is from donors outside of Wisconsin.
Another $112,778 came from donors who didn't give enough information to determine their address.
State election officials haven't released fundraising reports from Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. Barrett's campaign says he's raised $3.4 million over the past five weeks.
