MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett told supporters to continue to remain "engaged and involved" and continue the citizenship they practiced in the recall effort.
Barrett's concession speech Tuesday evening noted his defeat to Governor Walker in the recall election was not an end to the movement that spawned the recall, but an end of a "chapter" in Wisconsin history.
Barrett said both sides of the political aisle would have to listen to each other in the future to try to resolve deep divisions in the state.
