WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Safety officials are recalling folding deck chairs over concerns they will unexpectedly collapse.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall Wednesday. The recall involves 1,200 West Marine folding deck chairs.
The CPSC says the recalled chairs cannot support the stated weight capacity.
The chairs were sold exclusively at West Marine stores, online at www.westmarine.com, and in the West Marine catalog from February 2012 to May 2012 for about $70.
If you have one of the recalled chairs, stop using it and contact West Marine (by phone at 1-800-262-8464 or online) for a full refund or store credit. Consumers may also return the chairs to any West Marine store for the refund or store credit.
