
MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Edgewood fell 6-1 to Green Bay Notre Dame in the WIAA state boys team tennis tournament on Saturday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Only seniors Ben Winding and Tyler Piddington were able to defeat their opponents, as the reigning individiual state champs beat Notre Dame's Andrew Zimmerman and Brian Zak, 6-4, 6-3.
The Tritons went on to defeat six-time defending state team champion Milwaukee University School 4-3 in the championship.
Milwaukee Marquette won the Division 1 team title, beating Mequon Homestead 5-2 for its sixth straight state championship.
