Man arrested for shoplifting, punching officer in the face

MADISON (WKOW) – Police arrested a man accused of shoplifting at the East Towne Mall and punching a loss prevention officer in the face several times.

Madison police say 22-year-old Derrick Paige is suspected of stealing clothes from Hollister Sunday morning.

Paige had already been banned from both West Towne and East Towne Malls.

He could face charges for battery, retail theft, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
