CALEDONIA (WKOW) -- Police in southeastern Wisconsin are trying to reach the former owner of a property where a worker reported finding jars of human remains.
Caledonia police say the home was owned by a doctor who moved out of state about seven years ago. The jars of remains were found in a shed last week by a woman working at the property. Police say the woman told some friends who took photos and later called police.
The photos show what appear to be an eyeball, brain and another unidentified organ in formaldehyde.
When officers went to investigate, the jars were gone. Police believe it may have been a burglary.
