Woman charged with selling drugs at funeral home

GREEN LAKE (WKOW) -- A Wisconsin funeral director is charged with selling illegal drugs at her workplace.

Green Lake County Sheriff's deputies responded to a disturbance on May 25 and followed 25-year-old Melissa Wachholz into the driveway of Wachholz Funeral Home in Markesan.

Prosecutors say deputies searched Wachholz's purse and vehicle and found heroin, morphine pills, syringes and other paraphernalia. Deputies say they also found paraphernalia inside the funeral home.

Wachholz, from Friesland, is charged with possessing heroin with intent to distribute, possessing illegal drugs near an elementary school, maintaining a drug house and possessing drug paraphernalia.
