Lavery's no-hitter propels Parkview to state championship

GRAND CHUTE, Wis (WKOW) - It was the Jameson Lavery show in Grand Chute Wednesday afternoon.  The Parkview junior tossed a no-hitter as Orfordville Parkview shutout Saint Mary Central out of Neenah 2-0 in a WIAA Division 3 state baseball semifinal game.

It was the second no-hitter for Lavery during Parkview's playoff run. He also no-hit Cambridge in the regionals. On Wednesday against Saint Mary, Lavery walked four but struck out ten and retired the last 17 hitters.

Parkview advances to face the winner of Prescott and Oshkosh Lourdes in the Division 3 title game on Thursday at approximately noon at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.
