Beach party in Middleton

MIDDLETON (WKOW) -

The Downtown Middleton Business Association (DMBA) hosted its 2nd Annual Beach Party on Saturday in downtown Middleton.

The event highlights downtown business, but the event is also a Service Appreciation Day designed to keep the community in touch with its emergency responders.

"It allows the fire department, EMS and police department to come out and show the community what we have," said Middleton Fire Department Battalion Chief Brad Subera. "The tools we use and how we use it to benefit them."

The police and fire departments, along with EMS, competed in a friendly beach volleyball tournament.
