Rhapsody in Bloom

Saturday provided a beautiful evening to enjoy Olbrich Botanical Gardens, as Olbrich hosted Rhapsody in Bloom.

It was a 1920s themed gala.

The annual fundraiser supports activities at the gardens.

The gardens' director says this is the perfect time of year to visit.

"It's a wonderful evening, mid-June," said Roberta Sladky. "The gardens are at their peak and our staff has been working for weeks to make syre they're at their best."

Olbrich Botanical Gardens has 16 acres of outdoor display gardens.

More then 250,000 people visit each year.
