A Madison pizza delivery driver was maced Sunday

MADISON (WKOW) – Madison police said a pizza delivery driver was sprayed in the face with mace while trying to deliver a pizza early Sunday morning.

Authorities said the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the 5500 block of Greening Lane.

Authorities said a Glass Nickel pizza delivery driver was attempting to deliver a pizza early Sunday morning.  After unsuccessfully delivering the pizza, he was contacted by the suspect who was armed with a canister of mace.  Police said the suspect demanded the driver's money and phone, but the victim refused and fled the area in his vehicle after being sprayed with mace.

Police described the suspect as a male, non-Caucasian with white skin, tall, skinny, beard and close cropped hair.  The suspect was wearing mesh shorts and no shirt.
