UPDATE: Stolen Madison city truck found in Milwaukee

MADISON (WKOW) -- A city parks truck stolen from downtown Madison Wednesday has been located.

Police say the Milwaukee Police Department notified local authorities that they recovered the vehicle at approximately 7:25 p.m.

The truck was unoccupied with keys in the ignition on Milwaukee's north side.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say a statewide search is underway to find a city parks truck that was stolen from downtown Madison on Wednesday.

Police say the blue truck was parked on the 400 block of State Street, near Peace Park, when someone drove away.

Officials say property that was inside the truck was found in Pardeeville soon after it was reported missing.

Police do not have any suspects at this time.

Anyone with information about the truck's location should call Madison police at 608-266-4948.
