MADISON (WKOW) -- Democratic state Rep. Mark Pocan collected supplies Wednesday for striking workers at Palermo's Pizza in Milwaukee.
People dropped off food and other items at Pocan's Madison campaign office.
More than 150 workers at Palermo's Pizza have been on strike for the past three weeks, protesting what they say are unsafe working conditions and unfair labor practices.
Pocan says the supplies will help support the workers until they vote on forming a union.
"I just think this is solidarity for all of us, whether it's public employees, private employees, whether it's union or non-union," Pocan said. "This is all about the 99% and how we help the middle class."
Palermo's has denied any mistreatment of its employees.
