Oregon Summer Fest 2012 - WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports

Oregon (WKOW) -- Summer is here and there are plenty of outdoor activities and festivals to keep you and family busy! This year, you can join others in Oregon WI for the annual Oregon Summer Fest!

This year's event will include family-oriented fun and a community-wide celebration! Events include a parade, a carnival, a softball tournament, and a classic car show. You can event get signed up to compete in a 5k run/walk. Several food options will be available and several venders will be out on the grounds.

Oregon Summer Fest is a fund raiser for the Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce. The mission of the Oregon Area Chamber of Commerce is to advance and promote the commercial, industrial, agricultural, educational and civic interests of the Oregon community and its surrounding area in order to enhance the high quality of life.

Hours and dates of the festival are Thursday from 5 p.m. till 10:30 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. till 1 a.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. till 1 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. till 6 p.m.
