Teens bully school bus monitor - WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports

GREECE, N.Y. (WKOW) -- A school district and police department out East are investigating an incident on a bus, where the teens target the school bus monitor.

Karen Klein of Greece, New York, is shown in a YouTube video being verbally abused by students for her weight. While one student records the video, others call her names, even threaten her life.

Klein, a grandmother, has been working with the district for 23 years. She says she felt there wasn't much she could do when the students were harassing her.

"If you yank the phone out (of their hands), you get in trouble," Klein said. "I thought I would just let them go and I just tried to ignore 'em."

Klein has gotten messages on Facebook and flowers from strangers. She says she hopes the teens learn a lesson from this.
