Average gas prices fall in Madison

MADISON (WKOW) -- The average price of gas in Madison has fallen about 10 cents per gallon in the past week.

On Sunday, the prices averaged $3.39 per gallon. The national average has also fallen. That average is now $3.45 per gallon.

Prices in Madison on Sunday were seven cents per gallon lower than the same day one-year ago.

"The national average has now dropped to its lowest level since February 4," says GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.
