
MADISON (WKOW) -- Rhythm & Booms organizers are expecting more than 200,000 people to attend the fireworks display this year at Warner Park and that means there's going to be some traffic.
In order to minimize congestion, this traffic exit plan may help spectators move in and out of the area more smoothly. The following are guidelines to safely get pedestrians and motorists away from the park after the event:
Traffic officials also encourage people to park according to their exit direction, have patience, ad take advantage of the shuttle buses and extra Madison Metro buses that will be running. There are also a few private parking lots available in the area.
