EDMONTON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin hockey player Justin Schultz has chosen to sign with the Edmonton Oilers. Schultz was a second round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in 2008, but he decided not to sign with the team. After waiting out the Ducks four-year period of rights control over him as their draft pick, Schultz became an unrestricted free agent. The Oilers confirmed the move on its Twitter account on Saturday afternoon. The junior defenseman was second on the Badgers with 44 points (16 goals, 28 assists).
