MINNEAPOLIS (WKOW) -- The Fourth of July was a great day for Minnesota hockey, as the Wild landed not one, but two of hockey's biggest free agents in a mega-year, megamillion-dollar deal.
Both former Badger Ryan Suter and Minnesota native Zach Parise got 13-year deals worth $98 million each.
That brings the total bill to nearly $200 million for two guys, a major commitment for a program that hasn't made the playoffs for the last four seasons.
