Construction crews feeling the heat

MADISON (WKOW) -- Construction crews are feeling the heat.

They have had to adjust their work schedules to get the work done and keep themselves safe.

A group of concrete finishers with Findorff are working on an expansion at Madison College.

The foreman says he's making sure his co-workers are staying hydrated with plenty of fresh water at hand.

Jamie Walker says if anybody feels like they're getting too hot, they make sure to take a break or call it a day.

"We've got fresh water 10 feet from us at all times. We're starting at five in the morning, done by one o'clock to beat the heat."

Walker says timing is everything right now.
