MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Fire Department says dry grass and vegetation continue to smolder at Warner Park where fireworks were set off days earlier for Rhythm & Booms.
Firefighters say many people have called 911 or stopped by the nearest fire station to report smoke coming from the area.
The fire department says the site is contained to a marshy area and is surrounded by water. The closest shore is 80 feet away.
Fire crews continue to check on the smoldering areas several times a day.
