Jerry Kelly one shot off lead at Greenbrier; Tiger misses cut
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WKOW) -- Jerry Kelly followed up a great first round with an equally impressive second round at the Greenbrier Classic on Friday, once again shooting 4-under 66 to head into the weekend one shot off the lead at 8 strokes under par.
Steve Stricker sunk five straight birdies on the back 9 to finish at 4-under on the tournament after round 2.
Both Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson missed the cut for the first time since 1993 when Woods was an amateur.
Kelly is seeking his first win on the PGA Tour since 2009.
