WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Safety officials are recalling more than 100,000 swing sets over concerns the attached see-saw seats can break.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall involving Flexible Flyer Swing Sets on Wednesday.
The Troxel Company in Moscow, Tennessee makes these swing sets. Safety officials say the swing sets are being recalled because the see-saw seats can break away from the bolt fasteners. This is a hazard because people can fall off the swing set.
There have been 13 injuries to young children because of this swing set malfunction.
Walmart, Toys 'R' Us and Academy sold the swing sets from December 2011 through May 2012.
If you own one of the recalled swing sets, your kids should stop using the see saws immediately and contact Troxel to receive a free repair kit.
For more information, contact Troxel at 1-888-770-7060 or visit the company's website.
