After hitting the two, authorities say Castillo-Dimas attacked the mother. According to the search warrant, the man she had been riding with told officers he heard Castillo-Dimas saying, "I am going to kill you" several times while he stabbed at the woman.
When police detectives arrived on scene, they say Yandel was still pinned underneath the SUV's rear driver's side tire.
Yandel was pronounced dead at the scene by Dane County Medical Examiner Colleen Little.
The warrant indicates Castillo-Dimas was upset his relationship with the mother had ended.
Castillo-Dimas was arrested on tentative charges of first degree intentional homicide and attempted first degree homicide.
