SILVIS, Ill. (WKOW) -- Steve Stricker has been so dominant at the John Deere Classic that some of the other golfers are calling it the "Steve Stricker Invitational."
Stricker is trying to become the fifth golfer to win the same PGA tournament for four consecutive years.
"It's going to be a big challenge, but I've got a lot of good vibes going around here and I feel good about going around this course and I've played it well, so I have that on my side, too."
On Wednesday, the Edgerton native returned to TPC Deere Run to take part in the pro-am tournament. Not surprisingly, Stricker had the largest gallery and more attention on him than ever before.
"Obviously, I'm getting more attention this time around, but really I feel more relaxed. I think I feel better than I have the last couple years coming here."
