WASHINGTON (WKOW) – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall involving about 280,000 holiday decorative light sets sold at Family Dollar stores nationwide.
The consumer agency says the light sets do not meet the UL standard for this product and pose a fire and shock risk. No injuries or property damage has been reported.
The recalled decorative light sets have "200 Mini Lights" and "Multi Lights, Green Wire" printed on the red box. They were sold at Family Dollar stores from September 2011 through December 2011.
If you have one of the recalled light sets, you should stop using them and return the product to a Family Dollar store for a full refund.
