SAUK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Two people are hurt after a a rollover crash in Sauk County.
Emergency crews were called to Highway 12 just north of Groth Road in the Town of Sumpter early Thursday morning.
Investigators say a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Timothy Oleson, of Prairie du Sac, was going south when he lost control and the vehicle rolled over several times. Oleson and the passenger who owned the vehicle, 43-year-old Lisa Pahlow, of North Freedom, were both ejected from the vehicle. Both were found outside the vehicle when rescue crews arrived.
Oleson was taken to UW Hospital in Madison by Med Flight for head and internal injuries. Pahlow was taken there by ambulance for head and internal injuries.
Investigators say excessive speed, inattentive driving, and the use of intoxicants by Oleson contributed to the crash. The accident is still under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff's Office.
