
SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- The Sun Prairie Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Market Street Diner.
The incident happened about 11:20 p.m. on Saturday on the 100 block of Market Street.
A man entered the business and pointed a handgun at an employee. The man wanted money from the employee.
The employee was struck in the head with the base of the handgun, causing minor injuries.
The suspect ran away after the robbery. Police say the suspect left without any cash.
The suspect is described as a black male with a skinny to medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt.
