Three accidents all on the Beltline - WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports

MADISON (WKOW) -- Monona police have been handling three different accidents on the Beltline on Tuesday morning. All three accidents occurred in the same area near Monona Drive.

First a motorcycle accident closed down the westbound lanes near Monona Drive. That accident has since been cleared.

However, the eastbound lanes are backed up due to two accidents near Monona Drive. One crash happened at 8:10 a.m. involving three cars, and the other crash involved two vehicles. No injuries are reported for the two crashes on the eastbound lanes. The cars have been moved to the side of the road, so traffic flow should resume quickly.

Dane County Communications says there are injuries because of the accident.

The call came in at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.
