MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man will spend more than two decades in prison in connection with a murder and robbery last year.
Court records show 19-year-old Zachary Mays was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He pleaded no contest to second degree murder and attempted murder charges.
Mays is one of four people charged in the death of Michael Keith in September 2011. Authorities say the suspects robbed and shot Keith on the 1700 block of Fordem Avenue. Keith died the next day in the hospital.
Records show Mays will also spend 25 years on extended supervision.
