
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying a suspect in a substantial battery.
Officials say on Tuesday, June 26 around 6:00 p.m., the suspect entered Kelly Williamson Mobil Station at 3019 East Washington Avenue. According to police, the suspect argued with the clerk. The suspect became upset and hit the clerk in the head with a bottle. The clerk was injured.
Madison police describe the suspect as a black man in his late 20s, 5'05" and medium build. He was last seen wearing a red and white shirt, white sleeveless undershirt, long baggy dark shorts, black shoes, and a black New York Yankees hat. Police say the suspect has a tattoo across the left side of his neck and a bracelet on his right wrist.
