MADISON (WKOW) -- Electric companies in southern Wisconsin are still reporting power outages Thursday morning, following Wednesday night's storms.

Alliant Energy is reporting that 543 customers are also without power as of 7:40 a.m. Thursday. To see the latest power outage report from Alliant Energy, click here.
Crews from both companies are working to restore power.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Gas and Electric's website reports as of 1:55 a.m. Thursday, more than 3,400 customers are without power in the Madison area. MG&E spokesperson Steve Kraus says it will take until Thursday morning to bring all customers back online.

Alliant Energy's website is reporting as of 1:55 a.m. Thursday, more than 400 customers are without power in Columbia and Dane Counties. More than 400 customers are without power in Sauk County. Nearly 200 customers are without power in Grant County, more than 300 customers are without power in Green County, more than 400 customers are without power in Iowa County, nearly 300 people are without power in Richland County and more than 50 people are without power in Rock County. Some customers are also experiencing power outages in Columbia and Jefferson Counties.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Gas and Electric spokesperson Steve Kraus says there are scattered outages in Madison that will take until Thursday morning to bring back online.
Kraus says as of 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, more than 1,000 customers are without power on Madison's northeast side. Kraus says there are also outages on the west, south and north side.

Alliant Energy's website is reporting more than a dozen customers without power in Dane County, more than 200 customers without power in Crawford County and more than 30 customers without power in Iowa County. There are also small outages reported in Green, Lafayette, Rock and Columbia Counties.
