
MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The Brewers announced several transactions Thursday morning, though none involved pitcher Zack Greinke. The team reinstated C Jonathan Lucroy from the 15-day disabled list. Lucroy spend the last several days playing in Appleton and Nashville, trying to get back into the swing of things. Lucroy hasn't played in an MLB game since May 27th, after fracturing his right hand.
With Lucroy back up in Milwaukee the team has designated C George Kottaras for assignment. The team also optioned INF Jeff Bianchi to Triple-A Nashville and selected the contract of RHP Jim Henderson from Triple-A Nashville.
