MADISON (WKOW) -- Former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin) is the featured guest on this weekend's edition of Capitol City Sunday.
The three-term Democrat weighs in on a number of issues including the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling and his new book, entitled "While America Sleeps".
The book addresses what Feingold believes is a lack of focus on foreign policy since 9/11.
As one of the 35 co-chairs for President Obama's re-election campaign, Feingold also address the race for the White House.
"The idea Barack Obama was supposed to single handily fix the economy, that's not how it works," said Feingold. "But he has a steady hand. I think things will gradually continue to improve and I believe in the middle of his second term, we'll see things have truly stabilized and the economy has improved."
The second half of the show features an interview with Sen. Tim Cullen (D-Janesville), talking about his return to the Senate Democratic Caucus.
Capitol City Sunday airs at 9:00 a.m. on WKOW 27, right after This Week with George Stephanopoulos.
