Watertown man faces 4th OWI charge in 5 years

Middleton (WKOW) – A Watertown man arrested in Middleton early Saturday morning is being charged with his fourth OWI in five years.

John E. Stephens was stopped on the 2000 block of Allen Blvd around 12:07 a.m. An officer saw the Stephens swerving on the road.

Authorities said the 52-year-old failed field sobriety tests and had open intoxicants in the vehicle.

Stephens is being held at the Dane County Jail for felony OWI.
