
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying a suspect in a residential burglary.
Official say on Wednesday, July 25, a 44-year-old female on Park Edge Drive was battered during a home invasion.
Police say the suspect broke in through a window and surprised the victim. She was severely beaten and was taken to a hospital for her injuries.
Officials say the suspect left the area after stealing some of the victim's property.
Madison police say this
appears to be a random crime.
Officials describe the suspect as a black man in his twenties, and thin in build.
