Ebola outbreak in Uganda

Posted:

UGANDA (WKOW)-- Health officials from around the world are rushing to Western Uganda to track where an Ebola outbreak started in hopes of containing it.

So far, 16 people have died from the disease.

Health officials worry that it could spread from Uganda's borders.

A group from the Centers for Disease Control in the United States is traveling to Western Uganda to try and secure the area, find any suspected patients, and isolate them.
