
Samuel L JonesBELOIT (WKOW) -- Beloit police identified three suspects involved in the Saturday shooting of a 22-year-old man.
Authorities say the following suspects are wanted by the Beloit Police Department for their involvement in the shooting:
-Samuel L. Jones, 29 years old. He is about 5'11" and 280 pounds.
-Terrell Peppers, 31 years old. He is about 5'10" and 180 pounds.
-Charles A. Steel, 29 years old. He is about 5'9" and 185 pounds.
The Beloit Police Department will be working with the Rock County District Attorney's Office on Monday to secure warrants for Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide against these suspects.
Police sa these individuals should be considered armed and dangerous. Persons with information on

BELOIT (WKOW) -- Authorities are investigating an overnight shooting that sent a 22-year-old man to the hospital.
Beloit police say just after 1 a.m. officers got a call about shots heard in the parking lot of The Turtle Tap on Grand Avenue. Just a few minutes later, someone called 911 to report a man was found with a gunshot wound in the area of Nelson and Keeler Avenues.
Officers discovered an abandoned vehicle at the intersection of Nelson and Keeler that had bullet holes and blood inside. Officers followed a blood trail from the vehicle to a nearby home, which was unoccupied.
Just before 2 a.m. a Rockford, Ill. hospital told police doctors were treating a patient for gunshot wounds. The man had said he was shot in Beloit.
The victim told police he had been shot in a car in the Turtle Tap parking lot, fled the scene and went to the home on Keeler Avenue. A friend drove him to the hospital. He remains hospitalized in good condition, with non life threatening injuries.
Beloit police continue investigating the incident. They ask anyone with information on the shooting to call Beloit Crime Stoppers at (608) 362-7463.
