2012 Aids Ride ends

MADISON (WKOW) -

The Wisconsin Aids Ride wrapped up Sunday with closing ceremonies on Capitol Square.

The event celebrated its tenth anniversary this year.

The 300-mile, four-day fundraising event benefits the Aids Network, and has raising $2.8 million for HIV-Aids research and also promoted awareness.

This year's ride raised nearly $270,000.
