Meet & Eat extended into September

MADISON (WKOW) --It's back by popular demand -- Madison's "Meet & Eat" is being extended into September.

The event at Meadowood Shopping Center brings out local food cart vendors to the neighborhood and allows residents to experience healthy, affordable food.

There will be four more held at 5800 Raymond Road.

This event will switch to every other week on Thursdays from 5-7:30 p.m.

Upcoming dates include August 9, 23 and September 6 and 20.

The plan for Meet & Eat is to become an annual, summer event that rotates around to different locations in Madison.

Plans are underway for 2013.
